Select Red reaches AAU final

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Wisconsin Red defeated Wisconsin White 60-56 to advance to the championship game of the Amateur Athletic Union Junior Olympic girls basketball tournament.

Mistie Bass of Janesville Parker led the way for the Red squad with 22 points. Larissa Parr of Eau Claire North and Angie Ott of Chippewa Falls added eight points each for the White team, which finished third in the prestigious tournament.

Wisconsin Red plays Texas Best in the championship game today at 10 a.m. Wisconsin Red must beat Texas Best twice to win the title in the double-elimination tournament.
