Even Parr just right for North

RICE LAKE -- Eau Claire controlled the second half Thursday night to claim a 65-45 Big Rivers Conference girls basketball victory over Rice Lake.

The Huskies outscored the Warriors 39-20 in the final two quarters after leading just 26-25 at the half.

Larissa Parr scored 18 points and Kristi Gehring 15 for North.

Scooter Aspen made her presence felt at the point for the Huskies, scoring seven points, dishing off five assists, grabbing six rebounds and making six steals.

North dominated on the boards, outrebounding Rice Lake 53-37. Chandra Johnson pulled down 13 rebounds for North.

Holly Olsen and Linsey Wichman scored 10 points apiece for Rice Lake.
