Huskies put two on BRC all-star team
By Leader-Telegram staff
Three Eau Claire players were named to the All-Big Rivers Conference girls basketball
team, which was announced today.
Eau Claire North, which finished second in the BRC standings, landed two players on the
first team: NCAA Division I recruit Chandra Johnson and sophomore sixth player Larissa
Parr.
Eau Claire Memorial's Rebekka Lundquist, a junior, also made the team, along with
Rebecca Spaeth, a junior from Chippewa Falls.
Hudson's Randi Miller rounded out the five-player first team and was named the player
of the year by the conference coaches.
There were no repeat winners -- last year's first team was made up of seniors.
Miller was the only second-team selection last year to move up to the first team this
season.
Two other second-team players from last season, Melissa Anderson of Hudson and Jackie
Gagner of Rice Lake, stayed on the second team, where they were joined by Jess Larson and
Jackie Dummer of Menomonie and Allison Burchill of Hudson.
