Gehring, Parr turn up the heat .. North Boxscore
North scorches La Crosse Central

Kristi Gehring lit the fire, and Larissa Parr stoked it Tuesday night as Eau Claire North dumped La Crosse Central 58-49 in a nonconference girls basketball game.

Parr scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Huskies (5-1) at the Doghouse.
But Gehring got North going, scoring eight of her 10 points in the first nine minutes of the game, when the Huskies took an 18-8 lead. Central didn't get closer than six the rest of the game.
Parr scored 10 points in the second quarter. Artina Stovey led the Red Raiders with 13 points.
Chandra Johnson grabbed 10 rebounds to go along with nine points for North, which will host Eau Claire Memorial on Thursday night.
